Scientists in China have developed saline-tolerant rice that yields more than 7.5 tons per hectare and was planted in the UAE in January this year.
The results were very satisfactory after analyzing the results and witness the production . said by the R&D center officer. It was reported that officials have made plans to later in the year to plant 100 hectares of test-bed and cover more than 10% of the area in UAE.
